Events
The American Scandinavian Society of New York is a Pan-Scandinavian membership organization devoted to bringing educational, artistic and musical events with a Nordic character to the Greater New York Area. We host a variety of types of events throughout the year in order to make New York City a home away from home, where we celebrate and share our cultural heritage, and distinguished aspects of our history and current trends.
Cultural Grants
The American Scandinavian Society of New York strives to enhance awareness and appreciation of Scandinavian culture by supporting both performing and non-performing artists of all ages with ties to Scandinavia via its Cultural Grant program.

Since 1908, the American Scandinavian Society has been promoting and celebrating the cultural and intellectual ties between the people of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and the US. We exist solely for and through its members and for the cultural and educational events it provides.
