For over the past 100 years, the American Scandinavian Society has promoted and celebrated the cultural and intellectual ties between the people of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and the United States. The Society organizes concerts, lectures, plays, receptions and other cultural and informative events in and around the New York metropolitan area, the highlight of which is the Society’s annual Christmas Ball, held at the historic Metropolitan Club.
